Curiosity and Nuggets

When I scan the internet for news I am always looking for stories with a message…a positive message. Sometimes I click on a story just because I am curious. That was the case with the story titled This YouTube Star Makes $1800 a Month Reviewing Fast Food. Really? I was curious.

I have found it pays to follow my curiosity when my intention is to uncover a nugget, a diamond in the rough…because they show up in the seemingly most odd places…if I am looking for them. You can read the story here. The nugget I found is at the end of the article. The advice for aspiring YouTubers from this young student, who lives with his parents, is simply this: Find the thing that makes you unique.

Find the thing that makes you unique…how about that? The truth is, there is something about you that makes you one-of-a-kind. Finding it has to do with recognizing what it is rather than searching for it all around you. Answer the question for yourself…what about me makes me unique? I encourage you to sit for a moment or more and jot down what comes to mind.

You might notice the things that make you unique are those that make you feel happy, confident and at ease…like you were born for this…whatever this is. Begin to trust in what you discover. Take a step in the direction that will allow you to express your uniqueness. You will be amazed at how the Universe supports you to be you…in all of your glorious, unique and amazing ways.

Much love
Paula
